WEST'S PICTURES. A large audience assembled on Mon day night in the Esplanade grounds to witness the programme provided by West's Pictures' management. There was as usual an excellent series, the piece de resistence of the evening, com ing up with Moora Neeya, the Message of the Spear. Apart from its thrilling Incident, the film was particularly in structive to those without knowledge of the wild Australian aboriginal, as. it showed them the grotesqueness of an indigenous blackfellow when in full warpaint. To-nighi's programme-Papa, Mama and the Baby (omic). The Hidden Shrine (drama), A Victim of Tontolini (comic); The Doctor (a strong drama by the Edison Co), What a Finie Picture (a screamer), The Dear old dog (pathetio drama), Modern Taning (instrua. tive pioture of Animal Training), The Miner's Curse (an exciting production).
