STOCK AND STATION
SHEARING OPERATIONS
At Yarraquin shearing was completed on Wednesday of last week, and the team of shearers have gone on to Brick House. At Yarraquin 14,467 mixed sheep were clipped for 208 bales of wool, the work completed by 8
shearers in two weeks four days. Shearing at Nookawarra Station was completed last week after an uniter- rupted run, during which 13,000 sheep and lambs were clipped for satisfactory results. In tho flock there were 3,800 lambs clipped, representing a lambing of 80 per cent. The. blowfly was very active causing extra attention. It is reported a very satisfactory cattle sale has been made, delivery on the station having been agrred on.
