Births.
At Glenarm, William River, on the 20th June ultimo, the wife of John Clode, Esq., of a son.
At Singleton, on the 29th ultimo, Mrs. James Howe, of a son.
At Lorn, West Maitland, on the 1st July, Mrs. Alexander McDougall, of a son.
Marriage.
At St. Peter's Church, East Maitland, on Wednesday, 30th ultimo, by the Right Rev. the Lord Bishop of Newcastle, Arthur Edward, fourth son of the Rev. Townshend Selwyn, Canon of Gloucester, to Rose Elisabeth, youngest daughter of the Rev. G. K. Rusden, M.A.
Deaths.
On Tuesday, the 29th June, of croup, George, aged four years, third son of Mr. Alfred Levien, of the Rose Inn, West Maitland.
At the Caledonian Hotel, Singleton, on the 30th June, aged 27 years, Miss Maria Callaby, after a painful illness. Her decease was much regretted.
