CHRISTMAS TREE. A very bright alad cherry Christ amus party wa?s given by the mothers to the childrel of the Kindergarten play-group recently. The school I oom was decorated in true Christ mua style and the little tots, in their gay paper caps, made a very pretty picture, seated . at the long table laden with all the good things dear to the hearts of children. After a very "festive" time, all adjourned outside to watch the arrival of I"Pthel Christnys eon his bicycle, ringing a bell as he came and lead ing them to the Christmas tree, where presents for all the children were distributed in the grand old traditional spirit. At the end of the afternoon a tired but happy throng of little ones was taken home, and so ended at delightful day and a suc cessful year. The Chrlistmas ham per was won bIy Sister O'Donnell, of the Portland hospital. Play-group Sactivities will resume on Tuesday, tat. February.
