Christmas Hampers. Tho surrender of the Japanesl? may be "oxpeted to di~ip1sh the number of Christmas hampers, to be sent by the Australian. Comforts lound to the troops in the forwai d area, but some hundreds of thousands must still be despatched. Already in Sydney and other capital clties the hampers aire being packed. Whether the boys are in New Guinea, Borneo. Tokyo, Singa pore or London, every man of them and every woman-will have his'ham per on Christmas I0 ve when the par ties start.
