OBITUARY MRS RACHEL LIGHTBODY (From our Drik Drik Correspondent).   The death occurred at the residence of her son, Mr. Gordon Lightbody, of Kongorong, on Monday, October 27th   of Mrs. Rachel LIghtbody, widow of the late Mr. James Lightbody. The deceased lady was 85 years of age, and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Black, of Bridge water and spent her early Iife in that district. Her marriage with Mr.   Lightbody linked two of the early pioneer families. Of the union there were four sons and one daughter, namely Ray (deceased), Gordon, Ed mund (Warragul), Leigh (New Guinea) and Olive (Mrs. K. McLeod, Hamilton). Mr. Lightbody's death occurred early in 1934. Most of their married life was spent at Drik Drik, where they carried out farming pur suits. For some years prior to her death Mrs. Lightbody had made her home with her son at Kongorong. On Wednesday afternoon, October 29th., a service was held in the Metho dist Church, Drik Drik, after which her remains were laid to rest in the local cemetery. Among the large com pany at the graveside were friends and relatives front Kongorong, Ham ilton, Portland, and this district, tes tifying to the esteem in which the late lady was hold. Floral tributes   were many and beautiful.
