O0IITUAR Y MRS. CLARA IIOLLARD, The death occurred at IHamilton onl W\ednesday last of AMrs. Clara iHol lard, at the age of 82 years. The lato Mrs. iHollard, whose maind?ln name was Miss Clara Quick Geoman, was born at Yambuk In August, 1869. In the year 188.1 she was married to the late Il rancis Ilollard at the Wesley i'hutch ill Portland. They were amnlong the very cuarly settlers of the \Wallacedale district, there being only .t house here and there when she and her husband selected land and set tied here for the rest of their lives. Of a very quiet and homely disposi tion, the late iMrs. Htollard was ever ready in lending a helping hand to those who required It, and also was rarely found a more true and devoted wife and mother to her family. The late MAr. and Mrs. Hollard had the honor of celebrating their golden wedding seven years ago, and until a short while ago when Mr. Hallard passed on, this happy old couple lived quietly at their home in Wallacedale, and It was only after a few days ill ness that this fine old pioneer Joined her husband. Sincere sympathy is extended to the family, members of whom tire: Len, Eva (Mrs. Edmunds), May (Mrs. It. J. Watt), Ethel (Mrs. Ed. Annett), Harry, Mary (Mrs. iM. Hardy) .- .'Spectator.?
