MRS. JOHN TRELOAR. One of Myamyn's oldest residents and pioneers passed away at Port land on the 20th inst., in the person of Mrs. John Treloar, at the age of 80 years. Deceased was a daugh ter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Taylor, and was born at South Port land. Her parents later took up a block in the Myamyn district and re Fided thereon. At the age of 20, deceased was married at Myamyn. to Mr. John Treloar, and they took up residence on his block, where they had lived ever since. Of a cheerful disposition, deceased was a true help mate and played her part in the de velopment of the district, and her I.usband's property in particular. 'lhere were thirteen children of the marriage, of which those still living are-- Francis, Stanley, Reuben, Ros ina (Mrs. W. Hardy, Wallacedale), Melville, Grace (M£rs. C. Vaughan, Bullurra), Henry and Raymond. Mrs. Treloar had been a very active woman up till three months ago, her death being quite unexpected. The remains were interred in the Condah cemetery yesterday, after a service r' the graveside conducted by the Rev. Wheaton, of Heywood. The mortuary arrangements were in the hands of Mr. T. C. Jarrett, of Port land. -
