Deaths.

CAVANAGH. —On the 19th inst., at Summer Farm,

near Newport, the beloved husband of Mrs. Cava-   nagh, aged 70 years.

FINNIE. —On the 19th inst., at his late residence,

M'Kean-street, North Fitzroy, James Finnie, late of     Mining department, Melbourne, aged 53 years.

JEFFREY. —On the 18th inst., Robert Jeffrey, late of

Gartmore, Scotland, accidentally killed, the beloved             father of William Jeffrey, Newry-street, North   Fitzroy, and J. Muir Jeffrey, Middle Creek, aged 79 years.

LENIHAN. —On the 25th February, at Limerick, Ireland,

of rheumatic fever, Maurice, second and youngest       son of Maurice Lenihan, J.P., M.R.I.A., aged 23        

years. Deeply regretted.  

PATTERSON. —On the 16th inst., at his residence,

Maldon, William Patterson, son of Andrew Patter- son, of Colfin, near Stranraer, Wigtownshire, Scot-  

land, aged 53 years.

REYNOLDS. —On the 17th inst., at Toorak, Frances

Lamont, infant daughter of S. F. and Sara Reynolds.  

In Memoriam.

PRATT. —In loving remembrance of my beloved

daughter, Emily Pratt, who was accidentally killed at Heidelberg, 21st April, 1886, aged 21 years.    

Lone is the spot where my dear Emmy rests,

Cold is the earth that is heaped o'er her breast, Is she in Heaven, and there I will be,  

Emmy, my darling, I still think of thee.     —Inserted by her loving mother.  

Funeral Notices.

THE Friends of Mr J. O. CUMMINS, ironmonger, of South Melbourne, are respectfully invited to follow the remains of his late daughter Mabel Elsie to the place of interment, the Melbourne General  

Cemetery.  

The funeral will leave his residence, Katoomba, Normanby-street, Middle Brighton, THIS DAY, 21st April, at half-past 1 o'clock, passing Prince's-bridge    

about 3 p.m.
