This afternoon there is another at- tractive pru-jrarume provided for racing men at the popular Moonee Valley course. The first event is tho Hurdle Kaee, at 2 o'clock, iollowed bv the September Stakes, the AVest Bourke Stcepleihase, the Selling ltacc, and concluding, at i quar- ter to 0. with The Spring Stakes. As tho entries are very numerous, strong fields may ha anticipated, while it ia worthy of men- tion that Mr. Cox has increased the stakes, the Steeplechase being worth 100 sois. Ordi- nary trains start from Spencer street for Moonee Ponds at 12.40, LIO, 2.15, and 2.35 pit., wlul3l thcie is also a special at 1.22.
