Further details are coming to hand con- cerning the destructive flood in the Indian native State of Haidarabad, in the Deccan region. A special correspondent describes
the district over which the waters swept as a black grave. Six hundred corpses were removed from one spot in the slush along the banks of the River Musi on Thursday, and another hundred on Friday. The correspondent computes the death roll at 50,000 and the damage to property at £13,000,000.
