MOTOR CYCLE CLUB.
The newly formed Motor Cycle Club held its first general meeting at Bricknell's Cafe on Friday evening. There was a large at tendance of enthusiastic motor cyclists pre
sent. Mr. Walter C. Torode was elected to the chair. A complete set of rules drawn up by a temporary committee was, after minor alterations, approved by the meeting. Provision was made for country members to be admitted at a considerably reduced subscription. Nominations re ceived for membership up to the present have reached upwards of 50. It was decided to obtain permanent clubrooms as soon as possible. The opening run was fixed for February 5. Officers elected:— President, Mr W. C. Torode; Captain, Mr. A. Moyle; Vice-Captain. Mr. W. Sampson; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr. D. W. Bruce; Assistant Secretary, Mr. P. J. O'Grady; other com mitteeinen, Messrs. C. R. Churchward and W. H. Davey.
