KIXG-S MCTCRK HALI*.

Rehabilitated, renovated, beauttfully fitted out lighted and generali}' np pointed, Kinga IHctxjre Hall, tn Mur ray-street, tVrth. is again tn fuli swing as a picture palace. The finn running it are the same that so ex- cellently ran the Esplanade Gardens, and are worthily upholding the tradi- tions ot that place. A remarkable pic- ture. "A Duel ot Candles," this week supports 'the famous "Wreck of Ute Dunbar," next Wednesday being de- voted to the change to "Hands Across the Sea." a bio. drama that reeks with sensationalism, scenic beauty, defeated villainy and rugged chivalry. Both the "Wreck ot the Dunbar" and "Hands Across the Sea" are by a new Australian. Arm. which has patriotic- ally laid itself out to refute the idea that we must go to Europe and Ame- rica for our pictorial celluloid, the re- sult being an artistic and commercial triumph for the said progressive com- pany. Beautifully photographed and excellently acted :n coherent surround- ings, both the "Dunbar" picture and the "Hands Across the Sea" will in- spire confidence in a lot of Kangaroo landers. A matinee eventuated yes- terday; and a show is due for this

erenlng.
