Next Saturday's Programme. B Grade Semi-finals. Goodwood I. v. Deaf Adult, University v. Fort Adelaide I. Notes. The result of the premiership match shows that here, as in Melbourne, two teams are veiy much on an equality at the top of the list. In Melbourne M.C.C. and Malvem have now plavcd two matches for the major premiership, each 're- sulting in a draw, the first game 12 goals all and the second 9 goals all. The association rules here, hwever, specially provide for a draw at 'lie' end of the usual time, and the teams then play on for another quarter of an hour or until a goal is scored. This is what happened on Saturday, when the winning goal was scored by Goodwood soon after the extra period was entered on. The losing side committed the ex traordinary fault in tactics in failing to pre« hard for a goal. Rnd allowing their opponents tc do all th; attacking— suicidal tactics under the circumstance'!.
