Men fined over rubbish dump
Four men were prosecuted by the City Council in the Summons Court yesterday for having disturbed the contents
of refuse disposal dumps. Mr. E. F. Kenny (City Soli- cltor's Office) told Mr. Mc- Kenna, S.M., the public had been warned in The Courier Mail against taking articles from dumps. The four men charged were: John Kevin Baker, of Rode Road, Wavell Heights; Douglas Wymark, of Bligh Street, Nun- dah; Maurice Gerald Spilsted, of Franklin Street, Nundah; Clifford Thomas Harbottle, of Commercial Street, Valley. They were each fined 14/, with 6/ costs, in default seven days' gaol. Mr. Kenny said that inspec- tors saw Wymark, Spilsted, and Harbottle at the Vardon Street, Wilston, dump, and Baker at the Shaw's Road, Kedron, dump on December 16.
