Comedy Court
ADELAIDE-The 2,300-guinea colt,-Comedy Court, missed death or serious*injury by inches when he broke away after throwing his rider at Morphettville this morn- ing.
Comedy Court was being walk- ed from the track when he shied at a passing - tram, threw his rider Bart. Cummings, li)-year old son of the colt's trainer, J. M. Cummings, and dashed towards Anzac Highway,
On Anzac Highway he swerved slightly and it was only by in- ches that he missed being struck by a motor car travelling in the same direction. He escaped in-
jury.
The accident occurred less than I 100 yards from the spot where
I Tempest was killed in I93f>.
Young Cummings, who receiv- ed a bad shaking, was taken to the course casualty room, but
soon recovered.
