Port Switch To Buses Five 48-seater A.E.C. buses were on order in Britain, the manager of the Fremantle Municipal Tramways Board (Mr. C. W. Jerrat) said yester day. . The order was placed as part of the board's policy of chang ing from trams to buses in the Fremantle area. With the recent delivery of two Bedford buses, which had been driven overland from Mel bourne, the board's fleet now totalled 28. The only routes now operated by trams were the East Fre mantle and, South Fremantle services. Mr. Jerrat added that these routes would change to buses very soon.
