Kalgoorlie, February 24

Tile sinking of Judd's shaft on the Asso- ciated to a depth of 1,000 ft., has been com- pleted, and in a week or so driving north at this depth will be commenced.

The whole of the Kalgurli's new treat- ment plant is now running, and in the near future it should be treating between 3,000 and 4,000 tons a month. With a regular monthly yield of say 5,000 oz. the Kalgurli ought shortly be in a position to declare good profits.

Since the refusal of Mr. Hamilton, of the Great Boulder, to renew his option on tho Eileen, the owners or that show have been crtishing at the Callion battery, and the clean up will probably take place at the end of next. week. The parcels will total close on 1,000 tons, and the results should pan out at over an ounce to the ton. There is an abundant supply of water in the neigh- borhood now and it is likely that nuning operations ou the Callion will be resumed shortly.
