FILMING BUSH
FIRE
Several Players
Injured
SYDNEY, Friday.
While filming a bush fire at Wallacia yesterday for the Cinesound produc- tion "The Squatter's Daughter" a sound expert and a player were burnt about the hands and face.
Grant Lyndsay, the juvenile lead, had his right hand and forearm lacer- ated when, as required by his part, he dived into a pool.
Director Ken Hall and Captain Frank Hurley were also scorched. The bush fire was effectively filmed.
