In the Insolvent Estate of John
Sproat, of Melbourne, in the Dis- trict of Port Phillip, m the Colony of New South Wales, Doctor of
Medicine.
WHEREAS, the estate of John Sproat, of
Melbourne in the District of Port Phillip, in the Colony of New South Wales, Doctor of Medicine, was on the twenty-ninth day of No yember, one thousand eight hundred and forty eight, placed under sequestration in my hands by order of his Honor Mr. Justice a'Deckett, Resi- dent Judge, of the Supreme Court of New South' Wales, for the District of P->rt Phillip, and who did by further order under his hand appoint James Graham, of Melbourne, one of the Official Assignees of Insolvent Estates, for the said Dis- trict, to be the Official Assignee of and for this estate. I hereby appoint a public meeting of the. creditors of the said John Sproat, to be holden before me, at my office, Supreme Court House, La Trobe-street, Melbourne, on Tuesday, (he second day of January next, at the hour of half past eleven o'clock in the forenoon, for proof of debts and for the election of on Assignee if ne- cessary, to act with the Official Assignee ; and unless it be shown at the said meeting that the goods and effects of the said John Sproat, exceed the sum of £{00, I shall summarily proceed to rank the debts which shall then be proved upon the said estate, and direct the proceeds to be dis- tributed accordingly.
