BUSSELTON JETTY FIRE. BUSSELTON, Dec. 25.--Shortly before 9 pJm. on Saturday the Bus selton Volunteer Fire Brigade was Isummoned to extinguish a fire on the Busselton jetty, about a mile from the shore. The fire engine Iwas driven along the jetty to the scene of the outbreak, but the fire was put out with buckets after a number of planks had been removed, so that water could be poured on the understructure. Very little damage was done. Every year the brigade has to at tend fires on the jetty caused by fishermen throwing down lighted cigarettes, and it is considered that this was the cause of last night's fire.
