Before the Chief Justice Divorce Granted
In an undefended action his Honor yesterday granted an order nisi for divorce to John Kevin Trimmer, of Dunbar ter
race, Helmsdale, against Beth Victoria Trimmer, of Halifax street, Adelaide, for desertion. Mr. R. H. Cheek for Trimmer. Before Mr. Justice Ligertwood Action Settled To enable settlement terms to be carried out, a claim over a
land transaction was adjourned yesterday to a date to be fixed. Richard Thomas Foster and Phyllis Jean Foster, of Third avenue, Joslin, had sued Oswald Jim Wyly, of Whelan road, Camden Gardens, and John O'Brien, of Cochrane terrace, Prospect, for £1,100 alleged to be due to the plaintiffs in con nection with a land sale. The defendants had denied liability. Counsel intimated that a set tlement had been reached, and asked for the adjournment. Mr. V. R. Millhouse for the plain tiffs; Mr. R. Badger for Wyly: Miss R. F.
