NORTHAM NEWS.
THE TYPHOID EPIDEMIC. ANOTHER DEATH.
[By Telegraph]
(FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT.)
Northam, February 6.
Mr. Windsor a married man, succumbed to- day to typhoid fever contracted at Southern Cross. Almost everyday sees young farmers returning home with this dire complaint. It is urged that pending the completion of the hospital, an hospital tent should be provided with a trained nurse, in order that the patients may be afforded better chances of recovery. In some cases it is to be feared the surroundings of the patients are vost unfavourable to recovery.
