ROCKETS v^ CLEFS.

Referee: Air. M. Bolt.

This was clearly Rockets' game, but the Clefs showed surprisingly good de- fence; hence the small score against them. Rae, who is captain and centre forward for Clefs, displayed a thorough Knowledge of the game and proVed^to be one of the best players on the field. Rockets' combination, however, was too strong for individual play, and although Clefs broke through several times there was no doubt that their opponents we« superior. Despite the fact that Clefs were pressing dangerously near the goal, :hey could not convert their advantage. Play veered towards Clefs' goal "during the greater part of the time, althougí there was no scoring after the 'first li minutes. Anderson and W.
