The funeral of Mrs. Fanny Brittain, wife of Mr. Benjamin Brittain, of Perth, took place on Monday after- noon in the Anglican portion of the Karrakatta Cemetery, and was attend- ed by a large number of old colonists and friends of the deceased, who was born at Guildford in 1852. The chief mourners were Mr. Benjamin Brittain, husband of the deceased ; Messrs. Charles J and Albert E. Brittain, sons ; Misses Ada, Hilda, Maud, Daisy, Violet and Jessie Brittain, daughters; Mrs. C Brittain, daughter-in-law; Mr. T. H. Swain and Mr. V. Needham, sons-in
law; Misses Eva, Grace, Nellie, and Doris Brittain, and Miss Edna Swain, grandchildren; Messrs. Alfred and Fred. Jones, brothers ; Mr. Fred Brittain, Mr. and Mrs. A. Brittain, Mr and Mrs. S. Howlett, Mr and Mrs S. B. Devenish, brothers and sisters in law. The pall- bearers were Messrs, J. Robinson. C. Farrington, Thos. Swain, sen., and H. H. Stinton. Numerous wreaths were sent.
