as 'Thoroughbred,' and will be shown In 400 cinemas in the United King dom. Announcing the sale to British In ternational Pictures, Wardour Ltd., by cable message, the managing director of cinesound Productions Ltd- (Mr. Stuart Doyle) says this is the ' first time an Australian film has been sold oversea, before it has been completed or viewed. The terms of the sale call for the payment of substantial cash guarantees and a percentage of gross earnings. 'Orphan of the Wilderness,' which Is based on a story by the Australian authoress, Dorothy Cottrell, is near ing completion in Cinesound's Syd ney studios.
