Permission has been granted by the Charities Board to tho Church of England Mission to the Streets mid Lanes of Mci
bourne to make a public appeal for £10,000, ssluch will bo devoted to the purchasing and equipping of a home for babies This has been mado necessary on account of tho limitations of the homo for children in Wilson street, Middle Brigh- ton, svhich has been in use as a home Tor childi cn for 31 sears, and the demand for accommodation is now so great that tbe Bisters have been obliged to tefuse shelter to many children for whom had there been sufficient room, thev would have been glad to provide An option until March 31 has been obtained over a ptoperts at Mai
vern, which is regarded as being suitable for the purpose of a home for babies
