The ' Geffrard,' brig, arrived here on Sunday, from Fremantle, after a ron of 24 hoars iron port to port, and the 'May* sailed yesterday afternoon for Fremantle, with Messrs. J. Drum- mond, H. C. Elliott, J. Williams, Mrs. Drum, mond, and the Misses Logne, as passengers.

Too may possibly hear Tarions rumours, and receive different reports of the oana┬╗ of her de- tention here beyond her proper time of sailing, and as her male passengers are witnesses on an important trial, abont which, as might be ex- pected, there is mach local excitement, suspi- cions are rife, which the interest of parties con- cerned are sufficient to cause, though not to justify the expression of.
