LIVERY STABLES.
E. BERKELEY begs leave to inform the residents in Moreton Bay that he has stabling for twenty horses, and a large paddock for the accommodation of those gentlemen who may favour him with their support. Parties visiting the settlement from Darling Downs, de- sirous of entrusting their horses to his care, will be able to do so without inconvenience, in conse- quence of the Punt being ready to convey their horses to North Brisbane at any hour of the day. No attention on his part will be wanting to merit a continuance of their favours.
N.B. Gentlemen requiring veterinary advice will find it to their advantage to consult E. B., as his charges are extremely moderate.

LOST, a Chestnut Horse, branded 5 on the neck, lately the property of Mr. Charles Eyles, Butcher, and supposed now to be running upon the Darling Downs. Any person delivering the same Horse into the charge of Mr. John Slack, South Brisbane, shall receive the above reward.
STOCKHOLDERS in the NORTHERN DISTRICTS are respectfully informed that the Steaming and Salting Establishment at Kangaroo Point, Brisbane, Moreton Bay, is now in full operation, where gentlemen can have their stock converted into tallow or beef, as may best suit their purposes,
upon reasonable terms.
Stockholders on the Severn, M'Intire, and
Barwin Rivers, will find it greatly to their advantage to boil down their cattle at Moreton Bay, as the distance from Messrs. Dights' station, on
the lower M'Intire River, does not exceed one hundred and eighty miles, along a road abounding
in grass and water ; while the distance from the same station to Maitland is four hundred miles,
and often deficient in both.
