21, Years Secretary Of V.R.C. MELBOURNE, June 7.
Mr. A. V. Kewney today resigned as secretary of the Victoria Racing Club, alter having served in that capacity for 21 years.
I The committee of the club, announc ing Mr. Kewney's resignation, said that he had acted as the dub's secretary with unremitting zeal and outstanding ability since his appointment in 1925. and It wished publicly to acknowledge the debt 'due to him by the VRC and by Australian racing. The club had obtained hit eon to continue in office until tea ap pointment of a successor. !
