OVERCOMING BREAK OF GAUGE Sydney, Oct. 11. The Minister for Railways (Mr. Hoyle) has arranged for trials to be made of the Brennan invention for overcoming the break of gauge problem. Mr. Hoyle expresses himself as hopeful regarding the result. He has decided to put Mr. Deane, ex-engineer-in-chief of the Common- wealth transcontinental railway, in charge of the experiments, which will be carried out at Tocumwal.
