'THE FIRST WORLD WAR.'
rpHE FOX production 'The First x World War,' will have its Aus tralian premiere at the Prince of Wales Theatre on Friday next This picture,
which was edited by Laurence staiungs, is made up from actual war films, which have been held by the world's great nations in their vaults for over 20 years. The only addition to these authentic pictures is a commentary, spoken by the former silent film player, Pedro de Cor dobe; but to audiences this will probably seem almost superfluous, as this picture presents war, stripped of its gaudy strap pings, and fearful in its grim reality. The critic of 'Variety' stated that 'Mr. Stal Ungs has done a yeoman and masterful job in cutting down four years of visible hell Into 77 minutes.'
