NORTHAM NEWS.
THE WEATHER AND THE CROPS.
THE NEW POST OFFICE.
DEATH OF AN OLD RESIDENT.
[By TELEGRAPH.]
(FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT.)
NORTHAM, May 15
The weather continues favourable for farm-
ing operations. The young corn is looking grand.
A large number of men are leaving daily for the goldfields.
The new post office is completed, and re- flects the highest credit on Messrs. Byatt and Cody, the contractors. The question now is, when will it be occupied ?
An old and highly respected resident, Mr. William Smith, died on Saturday.
