To Make Up
The medallions are joined by sewing the points of tba scallops together, leav- ing four scallops to be joined by the smaller medallions. Two scallops are
joined at the sides of the medallions , and one at the top and bottom.
1st Row: Starting at the lower hack, place five medallions and'sew two scal- lops of each together at the sides.
2nd Row; Place five medallions in position and join to those in 1st row with 1 point meeting, leaving i scal- lops where the smaller medallions are
placed.
3rd Row: Se-'en medallions, adding one extra at each end to form the sleeve; join as in previous row.
4th Row: Three medallions each end, leaving out the centre back one to
form, the neck. .
5th Row: Three medallions each side
for fronts.
6th Row: Two medallions each side. 7th Row: Two medallions each side. , Crochet a chain at the underarm and arouud the neck and fronts, working slipstitch over the treble in the medal- lions. This gives a firm line to which to sew the lining.
When all medallions are joined, place flat on table over georgette. Pin in position and cut georgette to shape. Turn in edges and sew neatly all
around.
Stitch up underarm seams, leaving sides of medallions at each end unsown. Catch medallions to lining across shoulders to hold in position.
Finish with a tie of georgette about two inches wide.
