Miiss Ina Higgins (Melbourne) has been invited by Mr. L. A. B. Wade, of the New South Wales Government Commission of Irrigation, to assist him with the planting plans for the two new model townships which are being made in the Murrumbidgee irrigation districts of New South Wales. Miss Higgins and Mrs. Bogue Luffman were instrumental in getting the Government Horticultural School. Melbourne, opened to women students, and Miss Higgins affords a striking example of the success of the movement.
