Diggers Welcome Dr. J. Morlet
CAMPERDOWN returned sol diers gave their fellow member ana former president, Dr. J. Morlet, who was wound ed on a hospital ship, during the Darwin bombing, a rousing welcome, at their meeting on Thursday. He was greeted with prolonged applause, alter which the president Uir. P. HylandJ said the welcom ing of Dr. Morlet, their loyal cob ber, was one of the most pleasing duties he had had to perform since he had been president. '•You have seen fit to be with the fighting boys, where you are most needed, and we're proud of you" said Air. Hyland. ' "We are pleased :o have you with' us now. and hope it will not be! long before the >.var is over and you are with us again perma nently."'
