WAR PENSIONS TRIBUNAL
Illness of Chairman
Acting-Chairman Appointed
MELBOURNE, June 17.
The Acting-Minister for Repatria- tion (Mr. Francis) expressed regret to- day that it had been necessary to grant several weeks' leave of absence to Mr. Norman Rupert Mighell, chairman of No. 1 War Pensions Assessment Appeal Tribunal, on account of ill-health. Owing to the number of appeals re- garding rates of pensions, which were awaiting attention, the Ministry had de- cided to appoint an acting-chairman. Brigadier-General L. C. Wilson, solici- tor, of Brisbane, had consented to act as chairman of the tribunal.
