LOCUST PEST
Attacks Victorian Crops
MFLROURNF, Saturday.
A locust plague is attacking oals and grass crops in northern Victoria, and is steadily advancing on the cen- tral districts.
Grass has been cleaned off all the land about Moulamein, over Hie New South Wales border. The Thyra, Bunnaloo and Tataila districts have been attacked and the. pest lias reached Rochester. Local farmers are trying to slop them willi molasses baits.
