Mum kissed me goodbye
-I did not cry
"Mummy kissed mc good-bye and gave mc two bob," said bluc cycd Ronald Marsden, as he played at the Child Welfare Depart- ment's Royal Park Re- ceiving Depot yester- day,
"But when she left mc in the dark by myself 1 didn't cry," he said.
Ronald, 4. was found wandering Inside the gale ni the Royal Park lcmand section at 8.30 on Mon- day night.
A note he handed (o the matron signed by his mother said that she could not find a home for Ron- ald and wanted to leave him at Royal Tark.
Last night Ronald's mother, Mrs. B, Marsden, called at Russell st. police station.
She was lold lo report to Follrcwoman N. Nott at Malvern police station this morning.
Since Ronald's story was made public several offers of accommodation for him and his mother have been left at Russell st.
