Harry Equid, captain, has been awarded Coburg Foot- ball Club's trophy for the best and fairest player for
1949.
Other trophies to be presented
at the club's annual meeting next Tuesday are: Second best and fairest, J. Condon; most consistent, V. Cahir; best utility, R. Wilson; most effective, J. James; best first year, D. Hol- brook; most unselfish, V. Heeps; most improved, L. Walsh; best club man, E. Flegg; best team
man, A. Kilduff.
The annual report shows that the club had one of its most successful seasons, with a turn- over of £3,700.
The clubs' secretary, Mr L. Noonan, has resigned, and will become a vice-president. He will be replaced as secretary by Mr W. Carroll, who has been assistant secretary for 16 years. Mr W. Horder has been re- elected president unopposed.
Eighteen members are seeking election to the club committee. They are: Messrs K. Cameron, F. Cook, S. Danaher, W. Few- ster, W. Fise, K. Gunn, G. Laws, W. Pyke, J. Whelan, W. Carroll, jnr, J. Delahuntly, R. Ford, G. Libbis, S. McDonald, S. Mc- Gough, A. Parkes, S. Penn, W. Speers.
