PERSONAL
Mr Gordon de Q. Robin, master of science, of Melbourne University, has been appointed meteorologist to a British scientific expedition* now ope- rating in Graham Land, Antarctica. During the war Mr Robin had sub- marine experience with the British Navy, and since then has been doing a postwar science course at Birming- ham University. Mr Robin is a son of the late Mr Reginald Robin, of Camberwell, and a grandson of the late Rev J. de Quetteville Robin.
Colonel Rex Hall, who has been Army Director of Rehabilitation, to- day returns to his business at 500 Bourke st, after 5½ years' service.
Rev M. Tremewan, youth director of the Presbyterian Church, will leave for New Zealand early in January. He will spend about two months in the Dominion.
Rev W. O'Brien, a Dominican priest from Ireland, has been as- signed" to St Dominic's parish, East
Camberwell.
Colonel Archibald Wiggins, of the Salvation Army, has arrived , in Melbourne from England to act as editor in chief of all Army publications in Australia.
