Shipping Intelligence.
ARRIVALS.
From Liverpool and Cork, on Saturday last, the
ship Medway (450), Capt. Wight. She left the former place on the '28th of June, and the latter the 25th of July, and brings a general cargo of merchandise. Passengers, Messrs. Ryder, Rooking, Hartley, and Kaye; Mr. and Mrs Dickson,and 5 children ; Mrs. Goodwin; Mr. and Mrs. Calaghan ; Mr. Lynch;
and Mr. O'Connell.
From Liverpool and Hobart Town, same day, the ship Clansman (348). Captain Ritchie. She left Hobart Town on the 26th November. Lading, sun dries. Passengers, Mr. John McLaren, Mr. John Jennings; Messrs. Reid, Rolands, Roberts, Farden, and Mrs.Townsend; Andrew Macdonald, seaman, and Thomas Palmer, a prisoner.
From London, Swan River, and Hobart Town, the same day, the barque Calista (317), Captain Hawskins. She left Hobart Town on the 24th November. Passengers, Mr. and Mrs. Kent: Mr. Samuel Nolbrow, late of the Government schooner Mermaid, wrecked in Torres Straits; Dr. Evans, R. N.;
Mr. George Doldery; Mr. Joseph Hallet ; Mrs.C. Scadden, and 2 children; Mr. J. Booth, and 2 children ; and Kinneard Blay.
From London, on Sunday, whence she sailed the 24th of August, the ship Claudine, Captain Heathorne,
with 183 male prisoners 2 having died on the passage. Surgeon Superintendent, W. H. Trotman, Esq. The guard comprises 26 rank and file,
who are accompanied by 5 women and 5 children, under the orders of Captain Paterson, of the 63d Regiment. Passengers, Mrs. Paterson and child, and Mr. Edwards, of the Surveyor's Department.
From London the same day, whence she sailed the 20th of August, the ship Sarah (488), Captain Columbine, with 199 male prisoners. Surgeon Superintendent, A. Osborne, Esq,
