PORT MELBOURNE FROM THE AIR.
Soon after the berthing of U.S.S. Seattle this photograph was taken from the air. Prince's Pier was almost deserted, as the public were denied admittance, but the railway pier, in the background, was thronged with people,
including passengers from the Weeroona, who were unable to welcome the fleet on the bay because of the firemen's refusal to work.
