FLOOD-WARNING
REPORT.
HEIGHT OF RIVEES.
"Advices received at the Brisbane Weather Bureau indicate that further rain of a general nature has fallen in the south-eastern quadrant of Queensland dur- ing the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. to-day, notably in the Port Curtis and Central Highlands sub-divisions," said the Divi- sional Meteorologist, in a flood warning issued yesterday. "Registrations in ex- cess of two inches are as follows:

"More or less serious flooding will ensue in the Fitzroy, Boyne, Calliope, Mary, Logan, and Albert,, and Upper Conda-
mine.
"Conditions are becoming less favour- able for heavy rain in South-eastern Queensland, and it is not expected that the Brisbane River will rise as high as the 1908 flood (14ft. 8in. on the Port Office gauge).
"The following reports of river heights have been received:
"Mary River.-Kenilworth : 8 50 a.m., 38ft., falling 3in. per hour. Cooran: 9 a.m., lift. 6in., rising 1ft. per hour. Gym- pie: 9 a.m., 49ft. 9in., rising Oin. per hour.
"Condamine River.-Killarney; 9 a.m. 10ft. 6in. falling. Warwick: 9 a.m., 15ft.
13in."
