Peter Finch and Thelma Scott have won awards for the best
radio dramatic performances .in Macquarie Productions in 1947.
The general manager of the Mac- quarie Broadcasting Service, Mr. R. E. Lane, last night announced these awards, which carry prizes oí 100 guineas and a statuette.
Peter Finch, who won the award for the best male starring r0,e.in 1946, was again successful for nts performance in "Redemption. .
Thelma Scott, for her role in "The Lake," won the award for the best female starring role.
Bronze medallions and 50 guineas for the best male and female sup- porting ' roles went to Bebe Scott ("Wuthering Heights") and Llo>d Lambie ("The Little Foxes').
