CHILD FILM STAR.
Aunt Granted Complete
Control.
LOS ANGELES, Dec. 10.
Miss Myllicent Bartholomew has been awarded complete control of the affairs of her nephew, the child film actor, Freddie Bartholomew, after the boy's testimony in court.
"I'd like my aunt to control my estate," the boy said, "because, while she was in charge of my affairs, for less than 12 months, I saved 20,000 dollars (£Aust.5000>, but since otheis have taken over control, the estate lins been depleted rapidly."
The boy's adult-like language amazed the Judge and spectators. He was asked by the Judge whether he wished his family to share his earnings. He replied: "I'd like very much to have my sisters provided for, in order to have schooling, but I think my father Is well able to care for himself."
