"UNCIVILISED."
SOME COMPLETED SCENES.
At the Invitation of Mr. Charles Chauvel, the director of "Uncivilised," a number of artists and members of the Press gathered at the National Studios, Pagewood, yesterday, to see some scenes from that film. These were the first sections of "Uncivilised" to be shown to any but people immediately associated with Expeditionary Films, Ltd. As a result, one looks forward with much more eagerness than before to the completed drama, which will have been fully assembled in about three weeks' time. Even in their rough state, with sound and visual continuity far from perfect, the incidents in an aboriginal encampment were intensely interesting.
