"UNCIVILISED."
Not Censored in Victoria.
The Victorian Government Appeal Censor has passed the Australian film, "Uncivilised,"
for exhibition in Victoria.
Mr. A. W. Highfield, the secretary for Ex- peditionary Films, Ltd., which produced "Un- civilised," said yesterday that Sydney audi- ences seemed to have found nothing objec- tionable in the uncut version of the picture. In fact, his company had received many let- ters of congratulation on the bathing scenes which the Commonwealth Censor (Mr. O'Reilly) had ordered to be deleted from the copies of the film which were being sent
overseas.
