NEW ROSEVILLE CHURCH.
The foundation-stone of a new Anglican Church at Roseville was laid by Archbishop Mowll on Saturday afternoon He was assisted in the ceremony by Archdeacon Lang- ley the Moderator-General of the Presby- terian Church (the Rt. Rev. G. R. S. Reid), and the Rev. W. J. Roberts the rector.
The rector said that there was £2000 in hand towards the cost of the new church, which would be about £5500. Seating ac- commodation for about 350 would be pro- vided. The architect is Mr. C. C. Finch, and the builder Mr. S. C. Molineaux.
