SIR JOSIAH SYMON'S WILL.
Words Omitted from Probate.
ALLEGED TO BE DEFAMATORY,.
ADELAIDE, Wednesday.
An affidavit filed to-day in the Full Court by the executors in an application for probate of the will of the late Sir Josiah Symon, K.C., set out that certain words in the will and codicil appeared, to the executors to be "scan-
dalous, offensive, and defamatory" to the per- sons of whom they were written. The Court ordered that the portions of the will com-
plained of should be omitted from the probate
and from any copies of the will and codicils issued from the Court. It was also ordered
that any copies of the will or extracts from it containing any of the portions mentioned kept at the registry should he sealed up, and should not be available for inspection by any person or for any purpose except by leave of the Court or a Judge.
It is understood that Sir Josiah Symon left real estate valued at £20,847 and personal estate valued at £199,179.
